Dying modernity. Stereolab a toujours le pouls du cerveau précoce allumé. Le clip d’Aerial Troubles a été réalisé par le photographe et peintre français Laurent Askienazy, précurseur dans l’utilisation du numérique. Va t-on crever de cette modernité galopante et décérébrante ? « Dans un monde réellement renversé, le vrai est un moment du faux » écrivait un Guy Debord visionnaire dans La société du spectacle. Stereolab divise avec son utilisation de l’IA mais a toujours été à la pointe pour réinventer le passé. On a hâte d’écouter le reste de l’album comme par exemple le diptyque If You Remember I Forgot How To Dream en espérant davantage de rêves et moins d’artifices.
