David McDonnell aurait dû être un des High Flying Birds… Mais l’affaire entre ces deux Anglais ne s’est pas faite. Au lieu de vivre dans l’ombre de Noel Gallagher, McDonnell a joué pour les Coral et John Head (The Pale Fountains, Shack) et a enregistré deux grands albums avec son groupe, The Sand Band.
Dix ans se sont passés depuis la sortie de ce premier essai qui fut (et qui reste) un coup de maître.
